Spotlight News
At Ross Glen School we have a Spirit Day every month. On Spirit Day the students dress to match a theme chosen by the previous month's winning class. For December, it was up to 2B to choose the Spirit Day theme. They chose to do a red and green theme but with a little twist. Christmas is a time to give, so not only did the students have to dress in red and green, but they were also encouraged to bring food items and/or toys to donate to the Salvation Army. The response from students was amazing! At the assembly, 2B went through the rows of students in the gym pushing shopping carts and collected all the items donated. The staff could not be more proud of the families at Ross Glen School and their generousity. To continue in the giving Spirit, in lieu of doing a staff gift exchange, the staff donated money to the Medicine Hat Women's Shelter. Over $400 was raised for this worthy cause.
